1. Who we are and who these terms are for

Almaguer Specialty Coffee is a brand of ALMAGUER SPECIALTY COFFEE S.A.S., a Colombian company. We sell green and roasted specialty coffee to businesses (importers, cafés, restaurants, shops), to small roasters and to individuals. Every sale is agreed through a quote.

2. How a purchase works

  1. You write to us through the buy, samples or contact form.
  2. We send you a quote in USD or EUR. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
  3. For now, payments are received through PayPal. The order is prepared and shipped only after the payment has been processed.

By paying a quote you accept these Terms and Conditions in the version in force at that time. The quote and the invoice include a link to this page.

3. Commercial terms

  • Minimum order: 5 kg. For larger volumes, the minimum per lot is confirmed in the quote.
  • Delivery (DAP, Incoterms® 2020):
    • Orders of up to 50 kg, green or roasted coffee: we deliver to the door of your business or home.
    • Orders of more than 50 kg: the quote states whether delivery is to the destination port or to your door.
    • Import duties and taxes: if any, they are paid by the customer when clearing the shipment through customs in the country of delivery. They depend on each country.
  • Shipped from: Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Delivery time: 3 to 5 business days by air, counted from dispatch. Orders and samples are dispatched once paid.
  • Format: green or roasted coffee.
  • Lots: each lot comes from a single farm and is not mixed with lots from other farms.
  • Score: each lot has a score given by SCA-certified cuppers. The score depends on the roast. Lot data is published as it is verified.
  • Availability: limited by harvest. A sold-out lot is not quoted; if it sells out after being quoted, we offer to replace it with another lot or to cancel the order.

4. Samples

Samples are supplied on request: from 1 kg, in packs of 4 or more 250 g samples, subject to availability. The customer pays for the samples and their shipping; the price depends on variety and process. They are dispatched once paid.

6. Intellectual property

The Almaguer name, the logo (frailejón), the texts and the design of the site belong to ALMAGUER SPECIALTY COFFEE S.A.S. They may not be copied without permission. Credits for third-party resources are in the Legal notice.

7. Site information and limitation of liability

  • The information on the site (lots, tasting notes, scores, availability) is for guidance. The conditions that apply to each purchase are those of the accepted quote.
  • Our liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profit or loss of business.
  • These limitations do not apply in case of fraud or gross negligence, and they do not limit any rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer and that cannot be excluded by contract.
  • We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites linked from this site.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. If a disagreement arises, we will first try to resolve it directly for 30 calendar days from the day you write to us. If it is not resolved, it will be decided by the competent courts of Colombia. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection given by the law of your country of residence.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Each purchase is governed by the version in force when the quote was paid.
